We're the team behind DiscHawk, UK-based physical media collectors ourselves. We built this site because we were tired of manually checking Zavvi, Amazon and HMV every time a new 4K UHD steelbook was announced, just to work out whether the launch price was actually good or whether it would drop within a fortnight.

DiscHawk compares prices across those three UK retailers for new Blu-ray and 4K UHD releases — standard editions and steelbooks — and flags when a title is at its lowest price on record, so you don't have to keep every price history in your head.

Right now prices are checked and entered by hand rather than pulled from a live feed, so coverage is smaller than a fully automated tracker — see how to use the site for what that means in practice. Automated price feeds are on the roadmap.
